Alpha Phi's Alumnae Initiation Program
A mother, stepmother or female relative of an Alpha Phi in good standing. Frequently, this occurs when a chapter is being colonized.
A woman who has been involved and continues to be involved in Alpha Phi activities and functions.
A woman whose public stature or professional accomplishments evidence her value as a potential member of the Fraternity.
Please Note: The woman must not be an initiated member of any other National Panhellenic Conference (NPC) group, nor currently meet qualifications for collegiate chapter membership.
The alumnae initiation application must be completed and returned to the Executive Office along with a letter of recommendation from an Alpha Phi sponsor, preferably at least one month prior to initiation. The sponsor must be an Alpha Phi collegian or alumna member in good standing. Please note that in order to be approved, the completed application must indicate where and when the initiation ceremony will take place.
There is a $115.00 fee for alumnae initiates. The fee includes the first year of nternational alumnae dues ($25.00), the style # 100 Gold-filled badge, and the membership certificate. The fee may be paid by check or with a credit card. All checks should be made payable to Alpha Phi International Fraternity.

Upon approval, the prospective initiate will receive an Alumnae Initiation Kit. This kit includes the badge and certificate order forms, which must be filled out and returned to the Executive Office within one month after initiation. Additionally, the sponsor will receive a letter notifying her of the candidate's approval. The sponsor is expected to review the Initiation Kit materials with the candidate, prior to initiation.
